Big Boy Talk is the debut single from Melbourne-based artist ONONDO. Sound-Manipulator A.I Quick has delved into a wide array of adventurous music along the way; in recent years his evolution from IDM and BreakCore roots has yielded a new morphology of sound that is refreshingly hard to define. Big Boy Talk is an edgy & rumbustious 172bpm ride through the outlier zones of rhythmic thrilldom. The metallic twang of a strange digitally-altered Koto is one of the signatures of the track and holds steady throughout the thread of ominous dialogue and sample/noise/drum cut-up mayhem. There is also a wonderful sense of deadpan humour riding the assault (a recognisable trait in this artist's work) which rounds off the Onondo vibe perfectly.

The Hattori Dub Remix (named after Kill Bill’s legendary Sword-Master) amplifies the street-smart Tarantino grit of the original version and adds a secondary tier of Aphex-Twin style atmospherics amidst the scatter-shot percussion & unrelenting drive.
