Dead Man Sect is the new solo project for Sydney’s Craig Saunders - prolific sound orchestrator & one half of duo Novakill who have released on Germany’s Repo Records as well as Metropolis USA. The debut single is exhilarating, dirty, underground EBM, with the type of bass drop that is the holy grail amongst the genre’s acolytes.

’Now I’m Lost’ exudes both the brooding power of Gridlock’s quietly-seminal “The Synthetic Form”, as well as the dance floor flailing-arm mash-up of Nitzer Ebb at their bassline best. The thrill of noise bursts out of the seams of the track - in line with the punkish zeal at its heart.

Vocally, something different is on offer here as well; angst metallic proclamations act as almost another texture, interjecting the beat momentum with ambiguous phrases that allow your own imagination and sentiment to take hold. ’Now I’m Lost’ is a compelling debut and a future classic, play it loud for maximum enjoyment.

Disharmony are one of my favorite bands. Cool electro with sweet melodies and damn cool distorted vocals. After a long waiting time finally another sign of life of this excellent band. The advance EP really makes me want more. Polyspace is a great song. I'm really looking forward to the new album. bond23x
