30 years ago Snog's 'Lies Inc.' album changed the face of industrial and electronic music forever.

Satirical, sarcastic, nihilistic, darkly humorous and yet all too human, global hits like 'Corporate Slave', 'Shop' and 'Born To Be Mild' presented humanity in the blackest of velvet black mirrors. Originally released in Germany in 1992 on the Machinery label (and in the U.S and Australia in 1993), 'Corporate Slave' would become a global alternative dance-floor phenomenon and the 'Shop' remixes ironic chart hits on three continents.

Daydreaming Day-Glo punks with budget samplers and broken synths, Snog dreamt a stygian future that has, lamentably, mostly come to pass.

Snog have carved their own uniquely and charmingly dystopian career ever since, with recent albums 'Lullabies For The Lithium Age' and 'Eight Offerings For the Undead' being obvious highlights.

Often imitated but never equalled, Snog truly are your best Apocalyptic Entertainment value proposition.

Having visited the offices of Machinery Records in 1992 shortly after SNOG had been signed - one of those amazing & fateful coincidences - it is an honour all these years later to release the 30th Anniversary Edition of ‘Lies Inc.’ at a junction in time where it’s animating zeitgeist is more pertinent than ever before.

The Limited Edition LP has been completely remastered in 2023, and co-licensed with Metropolis Records for two Editions - The AUS Edition comes with 'Mesmeric Turquoise' coloured vinyl, alternate version jacket design, double-sided insert with exclusive liner notes/artwork and included CD (with 8 extra tracks).
